Raheem Devaughn

Raheem DeVaughn is no ordinary R&B singer.  He has carved out a lane for himself as one of this generation’s most beloved voices.  Born in NJ and raised in the DMV, the singer/songwriter has amassed a  catalog of sultry melodies and passionate bedroom anthems have earned him a loyal fan base as well as a host of industry accolades, including three Grammy nominations.  Originally signed to Jive Records, Raheem’s first three albums—The Love Experience (2005), Love Behind the Melody (2008) and The Love & War MasterPeace (2010)—resulted in chart-topping singles like “You,”“Customer” and the female-empowerment anthem “Woman.”  Stepping out as an independent artist for his 2013 release, A Place Called Love Land, Raheem remained consistent in his artistry and the same holds true with his chart topping 2015 release Love, Sex & Passion. As Raheem is not an artist who just sings about love and social awareness, he is a man of purpose and conviction.  He utilizes his platform to put forth an effort to affect the lives of others by becoming vested in empowering them through philanthropy work.  In 2014, he founded The LoveLife Foundation.  Not only has Raheem’s work impacted the natives of the DMV area through feeding the homeless and awarding scholarships, but Raheem set out to change the lives of others nationwide with the “Queen For A Day” Domestic Violence Awareness Campaign.  The City Of New Orleans and the State of Louisiana recognized Raheem for his outstanding community service work for Domestic Violence Survivors in 2015.  As he believes that love is the highest vibration that all operate from, he is affectionately known by his fans as “The Love King.”
